Lagu “Backseat” menggambarkan perjuangan dan ambisi sekelompok anak muda yang sedang mengejar mimpi bersama. Di bagian awal lirik, frasa “They don’t see the work it takes” mengungkapkan bahwa orang lain sering kali hanya melihat hasil tanpa memperhatikan proses panjang, kerja keras, dan pengorbanan di baliknya. Namun, para anggota LNGSHOT tetap berjuang tanpa menyerah.

MV “Backseat” sebagai Lagu Keempat LNGSHOT
“Backseat” menjadi lagu keempat dari LNGSHOT yang dibuat dalam versi MV. Lagu ini dirilis pada Jumat (20/2/2026), setelah tiga lagu sebelumnya yaitu “Moonwalkin'”, “Saucin'”, dan “FaceTime”. Kini, di antara lima lagu dalam mini album SHOT CALLERS, hanya tersisa “Never Let Go” yang belum memiliki versi MV.
Perilisan MV “Backseat” mendapat respons positif dari para penggemar. Salah satu alasan lagu ini dinilai spesial adalah karena dua member LNGSHOT turut serta dalam penulisan liriknya, yaitu Ryul dan Woojin. Hal ini menunjukkan keterlibatan langsung dari anggota grup dalam menciptakan karya yang bernilai dan bermakna.
