Israeli forces detain teacher following school raid in Masafer Yatta, install gate east of Tammun

Israeli forces have detained a teacher following a raid on a school in Hebron's Masafer Yatta in the southern occupied West Bank, Wafa reports citing a "media activist".

According to the activist, Osama Makhamreh, soldiers arrested teacher Mohammed Ahmed Hammad, and took him to an unknown location.

Meanwhile in the northern West Bank's Tammun, south of Tubas, Israeli forces installed an iron gate near the village of Atuf.

Wafa cited local sources who said that the move was aimed at further fragmenting the area, restricting residents' movements and disrupting their lives,

Israeli forces have installed several similar gates across the region in recent months.
